Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money". The 7 Profitz "Long Island
Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" is a CD designed for Hip-Hop listener's
of all ages. "We decided to cut out any profanity on this Album, we
wanted to make the Album something Hip-Hop fans of any age could listen
to, with a strong positive message", says Elle Madison of 7 Profitz.
"Long Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" proves that Hip-Hop is
still Alive and Kicking Hard.
A majority of "Long Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" was Produced by Apademik The Disciple of 7 Profitz. Apademik also has his piece to speak on many tracks as an MC as well. Apademik says, "7 Profitz wanted to prove that we are out here working hard to make real Hot Music. We keep it authentically eclectic, and still keep to the roots of that Old School Hip-Hop Drum sound." The title of the CD, "Long Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" in itself has a bold statement, that is to be understood well after listening to the music. "Passion with a Capital P", says DJ Phantom of WUSB 90.1 Street FM.
"Long Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" includes songs of a wide array of moods and emotions. "Long Island Hip-Hop: Not About The Money" again has Elle Madison the female vocalist on the Harmonies, while also Elle delivers a smooth rhythmatic rap flow that blends seamlessly with the Instrumental backings. 7 Profitz MC Anubiz says, "This time around, we want to make a non-stop head nodder." Dan Longyear aka CJ Freeman is fed up with government imposing ridiculous laws that impinge on personal and civil freedoms. After seeing a proposed ban on "saggy pants" being considered in Paterson, NJ, Mr. Longyear has created Underwarz™, boxer shorts that combine with pants and shorts that to create one garment to comply with indecency laws, or "saggy pants bans" that are being enacted or considered across the United States.

"The fashion police was always a running joke. Now it's a reality in many communities," says Dan. "People can be stopped and searched under probable cause, people can be fined and locked up. People can gain a criminal record. This country was founded in Freedom and they are being taken away one by one. To say this fashion is "indecent" is almost beyond comprehension. Just take a look at history; pantaloons to pants, tie-dye and bell bottoms, mini-skirts and hot-pants, bikinis and thongs…and we haven't imploded yet."

On March 17, 2007 there was a resurrection, and reborn are The 7 Profitz. Deep within the New York Underground Hip-Hop scene, knowledge was being spread at a high velocity, thus sparking a chain of events that coincides with the parallel energies of the galaxy. The three members Apademik The Disciple, Elle Madison and Anubiz, were then able to tap into the messages from the confines of the universe, and create their Hip-Hop and intergalactic infused music from the realms of Planet 7P.
The 7 Profitz bring you there Freshman release, "The Resurrection LP". "The Resurection LP" contains tracks "Another Classic", and "Shake Off the Page" Produced by Producer/Director, Apademik, who is best known as Producer/Director for "The Razah Code, Underground Hip-Hop" (2006), "The Renaissance Child DVD" (2007), where he also had the ability to showcase his Musical Production skills as Co-Musical Director for both movies, and his role of founding Funkin Beatz Entertainment Corp. ( www.FunkinBeatz.net ). There is also guest Production on this release, with "2099 A.D." Produced by the World Famous Producer, A. Supreme Wilder, of Git Rite Music.
